Many River Hills' residents give significant time and donations to local area charities and Service clubs. Some, like the large Lion and Lioness Clubs are based within River Hills, and some work from the River Hills Community Church just outside the west gate. Many of these charities have their own facilities and governing boards, but they are often largely staffed by River Hills volunteers (and more are always welcome).
