Come let the children play!!

The River Hills Playgroup is a coming together of mom or dads in the neighborhood with children of all ages. We meet once a week at the River Hills playground, weather permitting. This has become quite a large group so we do not exchange houses in the winter months. We do, however, take part in some local indoor activities that still allow our children to interact. Snacks and drinks are always provided.

The River Hills Little Tykes is our newest playgroup made up of young mothers in River Hills with children ranging from ages 0 to 2. We meet once a week to plan age appropriate activities and exchange parenting tips and, of course, to let the children play. We take turns providing snacks and drinks for everyone. We try to go outside, weather permitting. In the winter months we alternate between homes. In the nice weather we try to do fun outdoor activities as a group. Some of our upcoming events include visiting the zoo, Discovery Place, and Carowinds.

We have a monthly calendar and phone list that can be picked up at the River Hills Community Association office. Look for upcoming events on the River Hills cable channel. In the future we hope to have a newsletter.
